Oh! Records is off to an extraordinary debut by presenting Juno Award-nominated composer MRZ on its first worldwide single release, Ion Flux. Three different mixes of Ion Flux–Main Mix, Codex Mix, and Coda Mix–will be available on Beatport.com, the digital download network, starting this December.

Montreal, December 3, 2004 -- Party people have cheered and moved the floor to Ion Flux, the progressive-trance track that pulsated the dance clubs of New Zealand. In June 2004, “Ion Flux” was played to feverish crowds at Studio 9, Wellington’s largest nightclub, at the massive Wonderland, North Island’s largest outdoor dance event, and at Full Circle, South Island’s large outdoor dance event. Fueled by the tremendous response, Oh! Records will release Ion Flux worldwide on December 2, 2004.

About “Ion Flux”:
Great sounding percussion with a deep underlying baseline are key elements which get introduced in a subtle manner while building up to the main synth line that will have the listener suspended in a state of club frenzy.

“Ion Flux (Main Mix)”
MuchMusic and Juno Award-nominated artist MRZ (also known as, M-Seven and
Marz) releases his creative energies on this progressive trance floor-stomper.

"Ion Flux (Codex Mix)"
A deep, hypnotic, progressive take with simple, yet extremely effective synth licks. This grounded, hybrid mix of percussive and melodic synth lines creates an effective fusion of intriguing elements and build-ups.

"Ion Flux (Coda Mix)"
More on the progressive/goa tip, Coda Mix combines hypnotic, revolving synth lines with grittier, grunge-type synth licks. This track combines great percussive use of congas and triangles while providing a more open and ambient sound.
